expectations

blooming tangle of ideas
thoughts of best way to behave
plans and hopes
amidst the doubts
will i get that which i crave
so much
at the same time fear
of so many things that could
go wrong
makes me cringe and shiver
strange it seems that i can not
let the future take the reigns of
my life
for to lack control
makes me feel as though for sure
sometime soon
i'll take a fall.
